Razor Suleman is founder and CEO of I Love Rewards, a high-growth, web-based rewards and recognition and sales incentive solution provider. Under Razor’s leadership I Love Rewards has been recognized as one of Canada’s fastest growing companies and a top employer for several years running. Razor has recently been nominated as a finalist for the Ernst & Young 2009 Entrepreneur Of The Year award, and was named the BDC Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2007 for his innovative vision and business acumen.

In June 2009, I Love Rewards closed its Series B round with $8.7 million in financing. The Series B financing round included investment from GrandBanks Capital, a leading Boston-based venture capital firm, and marked the first direct co-investment made to a company by the Ontario Venture Capital Fund. Previous investors JLA Ventures and Laurence Capital also participated in the financing round. The capital is being put towards accelerating I Love Rewards' growth by expanding its sales and marketing capabilities to capture a share of the $47 billion rewards and recognition industry.

A serial entrepreneur, Razor started his first business at the age of 15, importing and selling hockey cards. His second business venture was Razor’s Edge, a campus branded apparel company that he ran out of his dorm room at Wilfred Laurier University.

Inspired by the success of Razor’s Edge, Razor established I Love Rewards in 2002, an innovative online business model that revolutionized the way businesses motivate employees and drive performance. In 2008, Razor closed a Series A financing round with one of Canada’s preeminent venture capitalist firms, a milestone in making I Love Rewards the global industry leader.
